You can complete the online Liquor License Application or contact the City Clerk to begin the process of getting a liquor license.

4. How can I register a business with the city or county?

The City of Litchfield does not require you to register a business. Please contact the Montgomery County Clerk’s Office at 217-532-9530 to register your business with the county.

5. What assistance is offered for businesses in the area?

We offer a Downtown Façade Program to address the maintenance and rehabilitation needs of building facades in the TIF District. We also offer several business incentives to highlight the importance of our community’s location and our regional influence.
