Leaf Pick Up Program Begins 11-15-23

Leaf Collection Program

The City of Litchfield is conducting a free leaf collection program this fall. Residents who wish to use the program should place leaves in rows or piles on the boulevard adjacent to the street. The City will not go into alleys or onto private property to pick up leaves. Please do not mix any other yard waste items in with the leaves (such as grass, twigs or flowers).
Leaf collection services are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will begin on Wednesday, November 15th. The Street Crew will pick the leaves up by Wards, beginning with Ward 1, 2, 3 and 4. When they finish with Ward 4, if time permits, they will start over again and do one more collection in each ward.
