Minutes of the Special Meeting

May 19, 2009



Mayor Thomas F. Jones called the Special Meeting to order on May 19, 2009 at 6:00 P.M. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Present on Roll call were Gary Wise, Marilyn Sisson, Pat Timmons, Harold Ellinger Jr., Robert Ostendorf, Gary Law and Gene Cailey. Absent was William Dees.



A motion was made by Alderman Timmons, seconded by Alderman Cailey to amend Ordinance No. 3245 to cause the additional 1/2 percent sales tax to commence collection on July 1, 2009. Ordinance 3247 was created for the amendment. Motion carried.



There being no further business a motion was made by Alderman Ellinger, seconded by Alderman Ostendorf to adjourn at 6:04 P.M. Motion carried.
