AGENDA





ADMINISTRATION – MARILYN SISSON



1. 1st and 2nd Reading of Ordinances – A motion that 1st and 2nd readings of an Ordinance shall not be allowed at the same City Council meeting and that the City Council can act on the 2nd reading of that same meeting with a finding of “urgency” by a 2/3 majority vote.



2. City Pay Administrative Cost of Central Laborers Pension – A motion to authorize the City of Litchfield to pay the administrative cost of the pension provided by the Central Laborers’ Pension for any amount in excess of 12 cents per hour.***



3. Approve Easement – A motion to approve an easement agreement with the Montgomery County Water Company upon approval of City Attorney.



4. Release Executive Session Minutes – A motion to authorize the City Clerk to release the April 5, April 13 and April 28, 2011 and December 8, 2010 Executive Session Minutes.***



ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT – DAVE HOLLO



1. No Agenda Items.



FINANCE – WOODROW STREET



1. Transfer Funds and to Pay Bills – A motion to direct the City Clerk to transfer funds from the City Sales Tax to the City’s General Fund and to issue checks and the authorization to pay the bills. These amounts will be given to the City Council at the July 5, 2011 meeting.***



FIRE & AMBULANCE – WOODROW STREET



1. ALS Monitor Technical Support Agreement – A motion to purchase the annual technical support agreement with Physio-Control for the ALS monitors and have the City Administrator sign the agreement, for an amount not to exceed $3,540 and for the City Clerk to issue a check.***



2. Purchase of Boat – A motion to authorize the Fire Department to purchase a new or certified pre-owned emergency response pontoon boat not to exceed $19,900.00.***



3. Purchase of Lake Boat Engine – A motion to authorize the Fire Department to purchase the Lake Department’s current patrol boat engine for $4,500.***



PLANNING, ZONING & BUILDING – DWAYNE GERL



1. Approve Contract for Technical Support of Lake Annexation - A motion to approve a contract with LK Real Estate consulting Services, Inc. for assistance with annexation matters and other land use planning and zoning issues related to the Lake Lou Yaeger Annexation Plan.***



POLICE – GENE CAILEY



1. Approve Contract – A motion to approve a contract with Montgomery County for dispatching services, for the period of July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012 and to authorize the Mayor, City Administrator and Police chief to sign said contract.***



2. Declare Vehicles as Surplus – A motion to declare 1 1973 Chrysler Newport and (2) 2004 Intrepid vehicles as surplus, and to authorize their disposal through trade-in or electronic auction and the proceeds of their disposal to go towards the purchase of new patrol cars and associated equipment.***



TOURISM – GARY LAW

BUILDING AND GROUNDS – TIM HANCOCK



1. Vehicle Lift – A motion to approve the purchase of a light duty vehicle lift from Automotive Equipment for a cost not to exceed $6,450.***



LAKE – GARY LAW



1. Purchase of Boat - A motion to authorize the Lake Department to purchase a new or certified pre-owned V-bottomed inboard-outboard patrol boat not to exceed $19,900.00.***
