Amber is a 2003 graduate of Southwestern High School in Piasa, IL.

Before becoming the City's Animal Control Officer, Amber was employed as a veterinary assistant for three and a half years in Carlinville, IL.

Amber became employed as Animal Control Officer on September 17, 2008. She also became a Humane Care Investigator in November 2008.
