Environmental Management Corporation has an aggressive safety program. Safety training is held once per month covering a specific topic. Some of the training topics include; confined space entry, personal protective equipment, emergency action planning, hazardous communication, and lock out/tagout.

As of June 30, 2006 the EMC staff has worked 3676 consecutive days without a lost time accident.

EMC completes a safety inspection each month. The inspection provides a rating for the facility and staff’s safety. EMC has averaged a safety rating of 97.5% in the year 2002.
