The City of Litchfield Water Treatment Facility is responsible for treatment of surface water from Lake Lou Yaeger. It is our duty to insure an end product that meets or exceeds all USEPA, Illinois EPA and Illinois Department of Public Health regulations. We are also a wholesaler of water, supplying water to other communities and water districts such as the Village of Butler, Three County Public Water District, and the Henderson Public Water District. Our facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days per week to provide service to all our customers.
