1. A motion to approve an Ordinance Ascertaining the Total Amount Budgeted for all Corporate Purposes Legally Made and to be Collected from the Tax Levy of this Fiscal Year, Beginning on the First Day of May, 2012, Ending on the 30th Day of April, 2013, and Levying a Tax for the Same on all Property Subject to Taxation Within the City of Litchfield, Montgomery County, Illinois, as the Same is Assessed and Equalized for State and Count y Purposes for the Current Year. (2nd Reading)
2. A motion to revoke the minor subdivision classification of Haycraft Acres approved on October 9, 2012 for failure to comply with all the provisions of the subdivision ordinance, namely to agree to conform with the ordinance’s requirement to annex into the City corporate boundaries, unless an agreement to do so is received by January 4, 2013.
3. A motion to select the winning bid for 314 South Brown property in accordance with the statute dealing with surplus property, which in this instance is 65 ILCS 5/11-76-4.2 and states, “The corporate authorities may accept any offer or bid determined by them to be in the best interest of the municipality by a vote of three-fourths of the corporate authorities then holding office.” The corporate authorities holding office includes the Mayor, which means 7 votes are required to pass this motion.
4. A motion to approve the highest bid obtained by sealed bid on December 13, 2012 at 6:00 pm between the two sealed bidders who both bid $500 for the property on Thursday, November 29, 2012
