  1. A motion to adopt a Resolution citing the City’s financial capability to maintain the Litchfield Lake Dam.
  2. A motion to approve the placement of Stop signs at the intersection of Illinois Avenue and Jones Street for the east and west bound travel on Jones Street (1st Reading)
  3. A motion to approve the purchase of a new salt spreader from Woody’s in the amount of $5,274 for the Lake Department
  4. A motion to approve the purchase of a new lake patrol boat from Victory Lane Ford for $11,678.
  5. A motion to make application and approve appropriate Resolutions and Ordinances for Community Development Block Grant funding for the construction of the Route 16 Sanitary Sewer and to authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the necessary paperwork regarding the application.

New Business

  1. A motion to appoint of members to Lake Advisory Committee
  2. A motion to adopt an Ordinance charging for any fire call outside the corporate limits involving premises with no fire protection at the rate of $125 for each vehicle and $35 for each firefighter that responds for each hour, or part thereof, with a minimum response charge of $600. (1st Reading)
  3. A motion to go to bid in January for the spraying of the Lotus at Lake Yaeger for the Council’s approval in February.
  4. A motion authorizing the staff to develop specifications and to go to bid for the cleaning of the lagoons at the Water Plant.

Old Business

  1. To hear a Report from the City Attorney on the Open Meetings Act.
  2. A motion to adopt an Ordinance establishing an Equal Employment Policy including provisions to benefit individuals with disabilities. (2nd Reading)
  3. A motion to adopt a Fair Housing Ordinance (2nd Reading)
  4. A discussion on the bidding of an aerial ladder truck for the Fire Department.
