Other Items as Assigned:
- A motion to approve a resolution providing for a
feasibility study on expanding the Litchfield TIF
Redevelopment Project Area and to induce development
interest within such area.
- A motion to approve the installation of three
street lights on Airport Trail between Historic
Route 66 and Clinton Street.
- A motion to approve the installation of four
street lights on Thunderbird Circle.
- A motion to release Executive Session Minutes
dated October 3, 2005, October 6, 2005 and October
18, 2005.
- A motion to amend the City’s Personnel Ordinance
changing the mileage reimbursement rate from $.405
per mile to the current IRS rate. (1st Reading)
- A motion to eliminate the Flower Policy from the
City’s Personnel Manual.
- A motion to direct the City Attorney to begin
the condemnation proceedings against 116 E. South
Street.
- A motion to approve the change in two Stop Signs
currently at the intersection of north/south bound
South State Street and Columbia Street to the
intersection of South State Street and South
Street.(1st Reading)
- A motion to hire D&M Electric to prepare
drawings and bid specifications for the electrical
upgrade at Bi-Centennial Campground for $1,000.
- A motion to approve the purchase of a tractor
for the Lake Department from Timmerman’s Implement
for $22,331.
- A motion to adopt an Ordinance declaring certain
City equipment as surplus and authorizing their
sale.(1st Reading)
- A motion to renew the City’s liability insurance
with Illinois Counties Risk Management Trust through
December 1, 2006 at a cost of $236,907 and to
authorize the City Clerk to write the check.
- A motion to amend the appointment process for
the Lake Marshal position at Lake Yaeger. (1st
Reading)
Unfinished Business
- A motion to adopt an Ordinance approving the
Final Plat of Stokes Addition, including variances
contingent on:
Final approval of the City Engineer; and
Final approval of the City Attorney. (2nd Reading)
New Business
- A motion to adopt an Ordinance establishing the
Tax Levy for the City of Litchfield at $1,032,251.
(1st Reading)
- A motion to set a Truth in Taxation Hearing on
Monday, December 5th at 6:30pm.
- A motion to renew membership with the Montgomery
County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) for
a two year period and to nominate Bill Dees as the
City’s representative.
- A motion to award a contract to Atlantic Meeco
in the amount of $114,996 to replace the docks at
Marina I.
- A motion to retain B&R Construction in the
amount of $9,927.50 for the dock removal.
- A motion to approve the change in placement of 2
Stop signs currently at the intersection of
north/southbound S. State St. and Columbia St., to
the intersection of S. State St. and South St.(2nd
Reading)
- A motion to reject the grant for traffic signal
at Ferdon and Old Route 66.
- A motion to adopt an Ordinance establishing the
intersection of Ferdon and Old Route 66 as a 4-way
stop with appropriate warning devices. (1st Reading)
- A motion to adopt an Ordinance establishing the
intersection of Ferdon and Old Route 66 as a 4-way
stop with appropriate warning devices. (2nd Reading)
- A motion to reject the tree removal bid and to
authorize the staff to rebid.
- A motion to award the initial planning phase of
the Overpass Study to CMT.
- A motion to amend the design contract for the
water plant project with CMT.
Old Business
Executive Session
A Motion to Enter Executive Session, as allowed under
the Illinois Open Meetings Act, as found in Chapter 5 of
the Illinois Compiled Statutes, Section 120, to address
these certain and restricted items:
- "The setting of a price for sale or lease of
property owned by the public body." (5ILCS 120/2 (c)
(6).)
- "The purchase or lease of real property for the
use of the public body…for the purpose of discussing
whether a particular parcel should be acquired."
(5ILCS 120/2(C) (5).)
