Minutes of the Adjourned Meeting
March 17, 2005

Mayor John L. Dunkirk called the Adjourned Meeting to order March 17, 2005 at 5:30 P.M. Present on roll call were Bob Bertolis, Greg Beiermann, Fred Jones, David Schwab, Harold Lankutis, William Cornman, Gene Cailey and William Dees. Absent: None.

A motion was made by Lankutis seconded by Jones to authorize Crawford Murphy & Tilly to begin plans for Dam Improvements. On roll call voting aye were Bertolis, Beiermann, Jones, Schwab, Lankutis and Dees. Naye: Cornman and Cailey. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Dees seconded by Lankutis to use water fund reserves to pay for the Dam Improvements. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Lankutis seconded by Dees to approve the VSP Filter Program for the new water plant. On roll call voting aye were Beiermann, Jones, Schwab, Lankutis, Cornman, Cailey, Dees and Bertolis. Naye: None. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Lankutis seconded by Jones to approve an additional $8,000.00 in engineering for the VSP Filter Program electrical harmonics. Motion carried with Beiermann and Cornman voting no.

Crawford Murphy & Tilly is requesting additional compensation be granted due to the delay in the project by the City because of an effort to bring Hillsboro & others into the project a cost of $17,920.00. A motion was made by Lankutis seconded by Jones to split the cost with CMT and pay them $9,000.00. On roll call voting aye were Jones, Lankutis and Dees. Naye: Schwab, Cornman, Cailey, Bertolis and Beiermann. Motion failed.

A motion was made by Cornman seconded by Dees to acknowledge receipt of a request by CMT for $17,920.00 in additional engineering service to be discussed at a later time. On roll call voting aye were Lankutis, Cornman, Cailey, Dees and Jones. Naye: Schwab, Bertolis and Beiermann. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Jones seconded by Lankutis to go into Executive Session at 7:25 P.M. to discuss the setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body. On roll call voting aye were Lankutis, Cornman, Cailey, Dees, Bertolis, Jones and Schwab. Naye: Beiermann. Motion carried. Beiermann left the meeting.

A motion was made by Cornman seconded by Jones to go back into Regular Session at 7:38 P.M. On roll call voting aye were Cornman, Cailey, Dees, Bertolis, Jones, Schwab and Lankutis. Naye: None. Absent: Beiermann. Motion carried

There being no further business a motion was made by Jones seconded by Schwab to adjourn at 7:40 P.M. Motion carried.
