A. A motion for Council to approve the purchase of six Portable Breath Testing units for $430 each, for a total of $2580.

B. A motion to purchase an outdoor warning siren from Mac’s Fire and Safety for $15,916.55.

C. A motion to adopt a Resolution to raise the Ambulance rates for the Litchfield Ambulance Service Area.

D. A motion to purchase a 2004 ambulance from Taylor Made for $91,008.00.

E. A motion to adopt an Ordinance establishing the Tax Levy for the City of Litchfield. (2nd Reading)

F. A motion to approve the City of Litchfield Revolving Loan Fund Recapture Strategy and the Revolving Loan Fund Recapture Guidelines.

G. A motion to approve the revised tourism grant guidelines and application to become effective January 1, 2004.

H. A motion to approve the renewal of the City of Litchfield advertisement in the Central Illinois Travel Guide for the cost of $800.00 to be reflected upon account 135-9525.

I. A motion to adopt an Ordinance declaring certain Street and Lake Equipment as surplus property and authorizing its sale. (1st Reading)

J. A motion to set the 2004 Council meeting schedule.

K. A motion to amend the Personnel Manual implementing policies for certain benefits.

L. A motion to rent a truck from J&S Electric for $600.00 per week, for 2 weeks at a cost of $1,200.00 with the Annual Budget to be amended at year’s end to cover these costs.

M. A motion to purchase radios from Rusco for a total not to exceed $7,000 for Street and Lake operations.

N. A Motion to Authorize the Installation of Street Lights in the Howard, Wahl Street area.

O. A motion to direct the City Attorney to draft a Fence Ordinance based on Carol Stream Model Ordinance.

Public Service Oversight Committee Report and Recommended Action

A. Consideration of insurance bids for the City’s general liability policy.

B. Consideration of contract with the Fraternal Order of Police.

Public Works Oversight Committee Report and Recommended Action

A. A motion to approve the concept of Phase IV of the City Hall Renovation Project.

B. A motion to retain the services of Evan Lloyd Associates to complete the renovation plans for the City Hall Phase IV Remodeling.

C. A motion to accept the bid of $4,350 from the Vandalia Correctional Industries for the construction of a table for the Council Chambers.

D. A motion to approve a contract with CMT for the design of a new Water Treatment Facility.

E. A motion to approve the repair of the paving machine by Cummings, McGowan & West, Inc. at a cost of $3,036.43.
