C. A motion to approve the initiation of the purchase

K. A motion to approve the Right-of-Way Plat and
payment of $75,000 contingent upon approval of
Right-of-Way Plat by the Planning Commission and
recording of the Right-of-Way Plat at the County
Recorder’s Office.
L. A motion to adopt an Ordinance calling for a
municipal census for areas recently annexed to the City.

M. A motion to purchase 9 batteries for the auxilary
power for the RR backup signal and that the City Clerk
be authorized to write the check for these batteries
once quotes have been received.
N. A motion to amend Section 14-117 of the Municipal
Code increasing the load limits on the City parking lot
located at the corner of Edwards and North Monroe to
10,000 pounds. (1st Reading)
O. A motion to approve a Letter of Intent for an
Agreement with the Illinois Department of Transportation
to share costs associated with the improvements of IL
Route 16 and Ohren Lane.
P. A motion to approve the purchase of up to $8,000
for mosquito control chemicals from Mug-A-Bug in
Forsyth, Illinois.
Q. A motion to approve the final pay request to HS
Contractors in the amount of $8,016.25.
R. A motion to spend up to $900 for security
equipment at the Water Treatment Facility.
S. A motion to adopt an Ordinance to repeal Section
16-183 of the Municipal Code entitled, "Taking,
etc., aquatic life off shore." (1st

Public Service Oversight Committee Report and
Recommended Action
A. A motion to purchase four police package vehicles
from Litchfield Chrysler in the amount of $58,980,
contingent upon approval from City Attorney of written
contract between Chrysler Corp. and City of Litchfield
dealing with repair/replacement of cars due to possible
faulty brake system.
B. A motion to adopt an Ordinance increasing the
number of Class A liquor licenses to five and reducing
the number of Class B licenses to twelve. (1st
and 2nd Reading)
C. A motion to approve a Resolution establishing pay
and hourly schedules for Non-Bargaining employees.
D. A motion to retain the services of Farr Associates
for consulting services on downtown development not to
exceed $30,000 plus additional reimbursable expenses as
outlined in contract.
E. A motion to direct the Police Chief to begin work
on developing a Nuisance Household Ordinance.
