MINUTES OF
THE ADJOURNED SPECIAL MEETING - MARCH 21, 2002
Mayor John L. Dunkirk Jr.
called the Adjourned Special Meeting to order March 21,
2002 at 6:30 P.M.. On roll call present were Robert
Reid, Bob Bertolis, David Schwab, Fred Jones, Wayne
Bishop, Harold Lankutis, Thomas Jones and Gene Cailey.
Absent: None
A motion was made by T
Jones seconded by Lankutis to bring from the tabled
status and call for the second reading of proposed
Ordinance No. 2970 authorizing the execution of an
annexation agreement for the real estate known as
Professional Plaza. On roll call voting aye were Reid,
Bertolis, F Jones, Bishop, Lankutis, Cailey and Mayor
Dunkirk. Naye: Schwab and T Jones Motion carried.
Attorney Jay Adams
persented the Petition for Annexation from Six
Professional Plaza Co to the City Clerk at 6:48 P.M.
A motion was made by F.
Jones seconded by Reid to approve the second reading of
proposed Ordinance No. 2971 annexing the Professional
Plaza Property to the City of Litchfield, Montgomery
County, Illinois. On roll call voting aye were Bertolis,
Schwab, F. Jones, Bishop, Lankutis, T. Jones, Cailey and
Reid. Naye: None Motion carried.
A motion was made by F.
Jones seconded by Reid to approve the second reading of
proposed Ordinance No. 2972 amending the zoning
classification of professional plaza property newly
annexed to the City of Litchfield. On roll call voting
aye were Schwab, F Jones, Bishop, Lankutis, T Jones,
Cailey, Reid and Bertolis. Naye: None Motion carried.
Budget Officer Levi
Suhrenbrock led a lengthy discussion on the 2003 budget.
Aldermen were asked to look over what he had just
discussed and be ready to discuss same on the March
26th, 2002 meeting.
A motion was made by T
Jones seconded by F Jones to adjourn at 7:45 P.M. until
March 26, 2002 at 6:30 P.M. Motion carried.
